Tips for Building Credit Scores for Students
Students can do several things to start building credit and obtain a credit score. First look at taking out a secured credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
There are new laws that require any person under the age of 21 will need a co-signor to get a credit card. Co-signors are often parents, grand-parents or a close relative. They should know that if you default or don’t pay your credit card they will be liable for the credit card debt.
